About Thorn & Willow
Who are we?
Having worked for some of the 'larger' companies in the kitchen industry, i became frustrated with their poor kitchen designs and need to use standard size units, as well as their typically poor manufacturing and customer service. In 2020 i decided to launch Thorn & Willow, my fully bespoke. start-to-finish kitchen company.
At Thorn & Willow, we design, build and install beautiful kitchens and involve the customer as much or as little as required. We only work on one kitchen project at a time and offer an unrivalled attention to detail.
We now have two workshops in the South-West, our original base in The Cotswolds, alongside our newest addition in Cornwall. Please take a look around and feel free to contact us if you have any queries.
What do we offer?
At Thorn & Willow, we measure up and begin our start-to-finish journey to providing the perfect kitchen for your home:
Design
Our experts start by using CAD to provide a visual representation of your kitchen space to the exact dimensions. We can add colour schemes and worktop ideas to help customers visualise the end finish, as well as flooring if required. Working with customers on design to maximise space and ensure practicality with bespoke drawer sizes is fully included in the kitchen cost.
Build
We hand-build all of our kitchens with raw materials from local suppliers. Our workshops are full of the highest grade equipment to allow a build quality that is second to none. We have spraying stations to ensure that a perfect finish on all of our cabinets, cupboards and drawers. Typically, a 15 unit kitchen will take us around three weeks to build from scratch!
Install
Our installation process can take anywhere from 4-6 days depending on the size of the kitchen. We are well drilled at installing all forms of integrated appliances from fridge freezers to dishwashers as well as a range of sink units and fixtures and fittings. Again, all of the installation time and cost comes included in the overall cost of the kitchen.
Bespoke Sizes
All of our kitchens are fully bespoke and made-to-measure.
Best Materials
We only use sustainably sourced solid woods rather than chipboard.
Handmade Only
Our kitchens are handmade using traditional carpentry techniques.
Custom Colours
We have thousands of colours to choose from and choices of finish.
